What to pack?
skis/snowboard (ready to rent on the spot),
warm winter clothes, googles, gloves, ski/snowboard helmet. However,
don't forget to pack sunglasses, camera, swimsuit & good
humour.
Daily itinerary
Day 1
You will receive a warm welcome on this winter
day in the capital of Poland, Warsaw. When you have relaxed and
recovered from jet lag, we will meet for a welcome dinner. Then
we will take you for your first walk in Poland! Why not drop in
at a local pub or cafe to soak up the atmosphere of this
country.
Day 2
We will give you a real insight into Warsaw
and its intricate and rich history. We will take you to the places
of interest. In the evening, we will set off for the mountains
you are dying to see. You will be dazzled by the views. On our
way, you will taste Polish specialties. Overnight, we will stay
at a cozy guest house, where you will have an opportunity to unwind.
Day 3
Following a hearty breakfast, we will take you
to the city of Cracov, famous for its rich culture and history.
You will have a chance of learning more about Polish history. In
the evening, we will concoct traditional mulled wine. You will
have time to browse the local shops a little bit and enjoy other
distractions. There will be no time to get bored!
Day 4
This is the very last day! Short after breakfast,
we will strike for the desired mountains. On the way, expect a
few surprises to be sprung on you. In the evening, from your hotel
room, you will be able to admire the views of the Polish mountains,
the Tatras. You will be in the major winter resort of Zakopane.
Day 5
As usual in the morning, a delicious breakfast
awaits you. Short afterwards you can do what you wish in your leisure
time: go skiing or hillhiking; take a cable car to Kasprowy Wierch,
go on an excursion to the Morskie Oko Lake or to the picturesque
Chocholowska or Koscieliska valleys. Look forward to a delicious
lunch. In the evening, we will invite you to a traditional, highlanders'
feast. Then, you can relax in the sauna or swimming pool. Eventually,
you can go to a party in a pub or in the open air, and make mulled
wine. Lots of traditional Polish attractions to come!
Day 6
This is the second and the last day in the Polish
mountains. There will be many thrilling activities to enjoy: skiing,
snowboarding, hillhiking, shopping or the sightseeing of Zakopane.
Day 7
Does an all-day journey (500 mi / 800 km) to
Austria seem to you tedious and exhausting? No way! On the way,
we will
show you lots of captivating places that will enhance our journey.
In the evening, we will reach the Alps.
Days 8-14
You will have 7 days to indulge yourself in
skiing and relaxing. In the evening, you can have a whale of time
in a restaurant, pub, discotheque, sauna, swimming pool,
by a bonfire and barbecue, or just go to sleep. The evening is
left for your pleasure to do as you wish!
Day 15
The day to bid farewell to the Alps and the
capital of Austria, Vienna. We will take you for a stroll through
this magical and beautiful city, where the prodigy, Wolfgang Amadeus
Mozart, created his works of music. A traditional Austrian dish
awaits you. Finally, last hugs and kisses and we will wish you
a safe journey home.
