What to pack?
You will not need any professional equipment.
Comfortable shoes, all-weather clothes, swimsuit, cap, camera and
sunglasses might come in handy.
Daily itinerary
Day 1
You land in Warsaw. Here we start our exploration
of Central and Eastern Europe. We will take you to your hotel.
In the evening we invite you to a welcome traditional Polish dinner.
Afterwards you will learn the details of our itinerary and meet
your fellow travelers. If you still have some energy to spare,
join us in our night walk in the capital.
Day 2
After traditional Polish breakfast we will show
you round the capital. We have all day to show how the past mingles
with the modern times. The walls of the Royal Castle will reveal
to you its rich and tragic history.
Day 3
We will set off due west. Our next destination
is Czestochowa. This is the spiritual center of Poland that draws
thousands of pilgrims each year. Here, the impressive Monastery
of Jasna Gora awaits you. We will stay at a serene and charming
place, nearby the Ojcow National Park.
Day 4
Following breakfast we will leave for Cracov,
the beautiful historic city with flourishing culture which attracts
both artists and students. The precious sites to be seen are the
Wawel Castle, the Old Town and Florianska Street. The local air
is scented with history and the atmosphere is unique.
Day 5
Immediately breakfast we will finish off sightseeing
Cracov and leave for Auschwitz. There we will visit the Museum
of Auschwitz-Birkenau, which commemorates the holocaust of WWII.
For a night stay, we have recommended a charming hotel in the old
Polish manor.
Day 6
This day we will leave Poland, since other cities
wait to be explored. The first city on our way will be Brno, in
the Czech Republic, it is a city which abounds in religious shrines.
In the evening expect some Trek-Surprise.
Day 7
Following a delicious Czech breakfast we will
set off for Prague. This city is considered one of the most captivating
and impressive capitals in Europe. The city's fame rests
on the Charles' Bridge, the sculpture gallery and the striking
quarter of beautiful Hradczany palace. The city really tempts to
be explored.
Day 8
Traditional breakfast in Prague is a real treat.
Sated, we will set off to Vienna, another fascinating capital.
We will reach the city in the evening and have dinner in the splendid
Old Town Square in Vienna. Tomorrow be ready for exploring the
most marvelous places of interests.
Day 9
We will help you explore Vienna, the city of
waltz and Mozart. We will unravel for you its rich history. You
will learn how Polish soldiers relieved the besieged city in the
17th century.
Day 10
In the morning we will bid farewell to Vienna
and set off for another country, Hungary. On our way we will stop
in Bratislava, in Slovakia. You will yet visit St Martin's
Cathedral, the City Hall, the Bishop's Palace. The we will
go directly to the capital of Hungary.
Day 11
In the morning we will visit yet another wonderful
city, Budapest. The longest river in Europe, the Danube, splits
the city to two parts: Buda and Pest. In the evening we will have
a ceremonious dinner to say farewell.
Day 12
We will see you off to the airport and we wish
you a safe journey home.
