What to pack?
You had better take comfortable shoes and clothes
for all kinds of weather. Don't forget to pack sunglasses,
camera, swimsuit & good humour.
Daily itinerary
Day 1
You land in Prague, the capital city of the
Czech Republic. From that moment we look after you. We will check
you in at a charming hotel. In the evening you will have a delicious,
welcome dinner. You will meet your fellow travelers and be introduced
to our itinerary. We will tell you about the attractions we have
prepared for you and the sights of interest: palaces and castles.
We know which of them are haunted. If you feel up to it, join us
in our evening walk through the city.
Day 2
After a delicious East-European breakfast we
kick off our exploration of Prague. The city takes you by surprise
no matter how many time you've been there. Following dinner,
we start our search for the castles and palaces. Then we will head
for Brno. This time we will stay at a mountain guest house, close
to the Polish-Czech border.
Day 3
We cross the border. You will visit castles
in Cieszyn and Grodziadz. After that you will be able to relax
at a fabulous hotel, located in a 14th century manor house.
Day 4
We set off for Cracov, the cultural center of
Poland. On our way we will visit the museum of holocaust in the
Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp, where millions of people
were killed by the Nazis. We will stay at a traditional Polish
manor house. In the evening, for those who still have plenty of
energy we have prepared a Trek-Surprise.
Day 5
You will be served a huge and delicious breakfast.
Then we will explore Cracov, the mecca for artists and students.
The city was the ancient capital of Poland and was the residence
of its kings for centuries. And you can still trace its capital
splendor. Finally, the city's crown jewel is Wawel Castle.
In the evening, why not go for a walk on the main square and drop
by a smart, atmospheric cafe or down a pint of local beer in a
pub.
Day 6
In the morning we will finish our exploration
of Cracov. When you have had your fill of this charming city, we
will head for the spiritual center of Poland, Czestochowa. You
will visit The Monastery of Jasna Gora that draws thousands
of pilgrims every year. It is a mysterious and unique place. In
the evening we will continue our journey, this time to the present-day
capital, Warsaw.
Day 7
Warsaw is the biggest city of Poland. Straight
after breakfast we start our search for the places of interest:
castles and palaces. However, we try not to overlook the modern
part of the capital. Then we will invite you to a sumptuous dinner
and desert. In the evening be ready for a special surprise.
Day 8
In the morning we will finish off visiting Warsaw.
You will have an opportunity to go shopping. This night you will
stay in Pomerania, the land of 16th c. castles. We will put you
up in a charming castle haunted by ghosts. At least people say
so.
Day 9
Malbork - that's a castle! It is
the biggest fortress in Poland, made of brick only and houses a
couple of smaller castles surrounded by defensive walls. You will
be impressed. In the evening you can relax in the courtyard. You
will be served a traditional Polish dinner.
Day 10
In the morning we leave for Gdansk. The city
used to be one of the greatest harbors in medieval Europe. The
houses of merchants and sailors, along with an old harbour, have
been preserved up to this day. In the Old Town Square you will
see Neptune, the king of seas and oceans. As usual, in the evening
we have some surprises in store for you.
Day 11
Do you know that political upheaval, leading
to the collapse of communism in Poland and other countries of Eastern
Europe, took place in Gdansk? We will show you this chapter of
Polish history. In the afternoon we will board a ferry and go to
the Hel Peninsula. This is a seaside leisure resort and a magnet
for surfing aficionados. You can unwind there.
Day 12
Your adventure in Eastern Europe is coming slowly
to an end. We revisit Warsaw. On our way back, expect surprises
out of this world.
Day 13
On this last but one day we will take you to
another fabulous place. It will be our farewell surprise for you.
In the afternoon you can go on a shopping spree. There are lots
of places where you can find souvenirs to take home. In the evening
there will be a farewell dinner.
Day 14
Last we say our fond farewells and wish you
a safe journey home full of happy memories of an enjoyable visit.
